Anno Domini - I hadn't heard them before. Started off a little shaky but this could have been the sound guy's fault. They're a melodic style, had good grooves, sounded good.
Killrazer - They had some serious equipment problems leading up to the gig, ending up in Grahame playing with half the amount of toms! They were awesome as usual though. So much fun to watch and their music is an ingenious blend of styles, seeming familiar but not like anything I've heard. Their set was cut short, disappointed.
Cemetery Urn & Dawn of Azazel - I checked them out quickly in passing but was out chatting and missed most of their sets. Not really my thing anyway. By this time, I'd had 3 drinks (go me!) and then started feeling sick.. I really don't know how anyone manages to get drunk, I can't even make it to tipsy! LOL. Anyway, after some water and fresh air, I was ready for the brutalness that is Krisiun.
KRISIUN - Heard them sound check and it was on! The sound check was awesome! So when they actually played, they just blew me away. I couldn't even get into it, I was amazed. The drummer is a spectacle, a machine! They were so quick and so precise, and then they played the fast track! Brutal Death Metal, there are no other words to describe them. The attendance was a little lower than I expected but the people there formed a good mosh pit and the band didn't mind at all, they put on a great show!
