Oooh sexy line-up.
Does stigmata have a confirmed new vocalist, or will the old one be playing this show?

Well i would say that it's to split between the NINE BANDS and the sound guy.
But hey, that's just a guess.
Also, never seen a 4 band bill over $15... so maybe stop going to gigs with so many bands?

to get this line-up i had no choice but to charge $20, unless of course i wanted to lose a bunch of money (again). my goal is to put on gigs that people will remember, not just regular gigs that the bands could organise themselves. These things cost money, which means i need to recoup it somehow. you will have your opinion on which line-up is better, but Chaos charged $25 I believe (correct me if im wrong). i guess the point of all this jibber jabber is that i will make nil to not much on the gig, but i just don't want to lose any.

Honestly, i'd be willing to pay $25 for this line-up. The fact is there are 9 bands, some assumingly from out of state, plus the sound guy to take into account. All want money, plus other costs I am sure that I am ignorant of.
I understand, that some people don't feel that $20 is worth it, but when everything is actually accounted for, it's a very reasonable price.
That and anyone actually wanting to go probably wouldn't care. I hope to see more long line-up's like this, it's great for exposure and drinking.

What is The Vaine?
And is Paindivision Stu from Dungeon's band?

Yes it is Stu's band. Their drummer is also Dragonforce's original drummer so they are a very talented band.
The Vaine are a Sydney band, all pretty young (17 to 20ish). Female singer also. They will not be everybody's fav band there because they cover a wide range of genres, screamo/hardcore/metal and some pop kinda sounds. They have some chunky ass riffs though and thats why i like them.

I didn't like it. Now, The Vaine is very good at what it does, really, very talented, but I don't like it.

I have just added a 10th band to the bill at the advice of Stu Marshall. Welcome the Sydney hardcore/prog metal hybrid that is Northlane!
